Temporary (Full-Time, Resident Assistant)
* Assist the Lead Resident Assistant with all delivery of basic services
(shelter, food, hygiene) to individuals and families served at the facility.
* Assist with all daily client services and support all the set up and break down of all site functions.
* Assist with maximizing the quality of living by including assistance with both the move-in and move-out process.
* Promote and ensure a harmonious atmosphere for both clients and employees.
* Responsible for preventing and de-escalating all verbal and physical altercations on-site, which includes submitting thorough written reports to the Lead Resident Assistant.
* Responsible for ensuring fluidity of all facility site services.
* Responsible for monitoring all supply inventories and conveying all needs to the Lead Resident Assistant.
* Capable and able to administer all scheduled and random client UA/BA testing.
* Attend mandatory staff meetings.
* Attend all scheduled trainings.
* Promote and secure a sober environment.
* Responsible for assisting with all monthly emergency procedures.
* Responsible for all administrative needs related to the tracking of all client services provided at the facility.
* Other duties as assigned by the Lead Resident Assistant and Senior Resident Assistant Supervisor.REQUIREMENTS:
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with U.S Veterans Initiative employees.
* Basic computer literacy.
* Must be energetic, dedicated to the mission and flexible.
* Prefer knowledge/experience working in the Waianae area.
