Make a difference in the life of a young boy – become a Program Specialist with the Aloha Council, Boy Scouts of America.

 

Duties of the Position:

Work closely as mentor to youth in grades 1st -6th, many from at-risk neighborhoods at local schools or community centers

Enthusiastically conduct fun, weekly, programs using prepared meeting outlines and program materials.

Track attendance and achievements/advancements for each youth at weekly meetings

Work with assigned supervisor in planning outdoor activities

School-year: programs are run for 1 hour after school each day by grade level to include an hour a week of prep time.

Supplies will be provided for programs

Average hours per week: 5-7
