DreamHouse ‘Ewa Beach welcomes children (grades 5-8) to engage in an innovative, exciting day of immersive, place-based leadership development.

On Saturday, September 15th, a cohort of 30 children will travel to three separate sites on O’ahu to engage in learning, impact, and the stories of our islands. We will then gather together at Tokai University for team lunch and an afternoon workshop to build leadership, partnership, and friendship.

If you are looking for an immersive, one-day experience for your child to support their growth and development as a young, adolescent, place-based leader, please register your child to join DreamHouse and community partners for this wonderful day!

Please sign up via www.DreamHouseEwaBeach.org or direct at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/september-place-based-leadership-workshop-915-tickets-49105989336.

WHY WE NEED YOU:

Every day in Hawai‘i, our keiki are being sexually exploited for money, right here in our islands.  Children are often preyed upon online and through social media, as well as in popular locations such as schools, malls, movie theaters and bus stops. A problem of this scope and scale can only be tackled by an aware, engaged and proactive community committed to stopping it and supporting the comprehensive services that are needed for those who have been victimized. HNP is committed to the renewal of underage sex trafficked girls through health, education, advocacy and reintegration.
