POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of routine and complex clerical functions including financial recordkeeping and reporting; processing billings, invoices, purchase orders, requisitions, checks, check requests, tax reports, payments and/or deposits.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1.        High school graduate or G.E.D.
2.        Two years’ progressively responsible experience working in general office with accounting and bookkeeping responsibilities.
3.        Willingness to work occasional night and weekend hours.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree in Accounting

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.        Codes and inputs invoices, check requests, employee expense reimbursements into the accounting system for weekly cash disbursements.
2.        Balances and generates the appropriate reports in relation to weekly cash disbursement.
3.        Processes manual and void checks as needed.
4.        Reconciles vendor accounts and all related general ledger accounts monthly.
5.        Communicates with vendors to resolve invoicing and payment discrepancies.
6.        Maintains vendor files.
7.        Reconcile POS sales with actual cash deposits.
8.        Prepares daily cash receipts reports for bank deposits; banking daily. Prepares deposits of vending monies and scholarship and other donations.
9.        Prepare donation log for transmission to DHQ.
10.        Researches statements and provides basic accounts payable assistance as requested
11.        Maintain inventory of furniture & equipment.
12.        Notifies Community Relations Manager when major or planned giving check(s) are received.
13.        Reconciles inter-company Accounts Receivable and closes Accounts Receivable
14.        Files reports, journals, and original documents. Accurately files documents including applications, membership forms, and accounts payables and receivables.
15.        Performs data entry for members and tracks members’ demographics.  Responds to customer requests for payment history.
16.        Scans, faxes and copies documents as needed
17.        Provides back-up to others in the Accounting Department.
18.        Perform other duties as assigned.
19.        Follow and ensure adherence to The Salvation Army Policies and Procedures.
20.        Maintain the Code of Ethics policy, which has been established for the Kroc Center Hawaii.
21.        Attend staff meetings and other administrative meetings.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Painter will maintain the facility buildings, grounds, associated equipment, and carry out duties with minimum supervision.  He will repair and paint building walls, floors, ceilings, and other facilities. He will maintain equipment used to complete these tasks. He will perform a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds such as pressure washing, removing and replacing molding and wall/floor parts, window cleaning, deck/concrete repair and more.

The Maintenance Technician will have a deep commitment to the mission of The Salvation Army, which will be evident in his or her professional life and the manner in which he or she represents The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in the community.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1.      High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
2.      Minimum of one year experience performing light maintenance.

Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be accepted.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.      Prepares primes, sands, seals, patches and paints furniture, surfaces, buildings, and fixtures utilizing all types of painting materials such as varnish, lacquer, shellac, enamel, latex, epoxy, water-proofing and heat resistant finishes.
2.      Tapes, flushes, repairs and applies texturing, wallpaper, and acoustic layers on a variety of surfaces. Adjusts colors when necessary; utilizes enhanced finishing skills when appropriate.
3.      Applies materials to new construction, existing, multi-story buildings, alterations, and remodelings.
4.      Graffiti response and removal using a variety of available products and soda blasting.
5.      Operates, cleans and maintains all painting equipment, including brush, roll, sprayers and electrostatic sprayers, pumps, etc. Safely stores and labels all materials.
6.      Estimates time and materials required; keeps computerized records and submits reports of work performed.
7.      Update MSDS as required.
8.      Assist in maintaining designated properties in compliance with applicable local, state and company rules, codes and regulations.
9.      Report mechanical malfunctions to the appropriate party for action.
10.     Prepares site for special events/trainings (sets up and takes down furniture and equipment for a variety of internal and community events);Assist in moving furniture and equipment at both facilities/sites setting security alarms and responding to alarm calls during and after regular work hours, and maintaining clean, safe, and orderly work sites. Performs routine inspection of facilities to check for maintenance issues in all areas to ensure proper working order.
11.     Erects scaffolding, rigging and ladders as necessary in a manner consistent with safety codes.
12.     Reads and understands blueprints.
13.     Identify and schedule projects needed to be serviced by outside contractors.
14.     Follows oral and written instructions while communicating with Program Supervisors and Staff.
15.     Follow and ensure adherence to The Salvation Army Policies and Procedures.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Administrative Assistant to the Director of Business will provide general secretarial support to the Director of Business as well as coordinate all functions of the Kroc Center Administrative Office, which includes planning, organizing, managing all files, special projects, and events. 4. At least three years of experience in supervising staff and/or volunteers.
5. Be cordial, friendly and professional in carrying out your job responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Provide secretarial service for the Director of Business.
a. Compose and type routine letters to all levels of staff, members, volunteers, donors, and DHQ as needed.
b. Open mail, sort, distribute to appropriate departments and answer routine correspondence.
c. After discussing matters with the Director of Business; prepare correspondence and send out.
2. Process a Reading file to the Director of Business and others as designated on a monthly basis.
3. Maintain a bring-up system and provide to Director of Business daily. Will send out routine reminder letters when items are overdue from bring-up system.
4. Create original Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations using MS Office applications and other applications as needed.
5. Process items for CFC Command Finance Council, DPC Divisional Program Council, Advisory Committees, etc.
6. Maintain an office procedure manual that will ensure that all individuals under your supervision are completing assigned tasks to completion. Will monitor rest and meal breaks according to established procedures.
7. Take minutes at all key departmental meetings. Will produce and distribute within 3 days of said meeting to all parties involved and ensure assigned action items are completed in a timely manner. Ensure strict confidentiality of subjects discussed in meetings.
8. Oversee hosting duties for meetings including RSVPs, the preparation and ordering for food and beverages, as needed.
9. Oversee the maintenance of calendar for the departmental conference room via RMS Recreational Management System.
10. Maintain and update a calendar of all scheduled appointments for Director of Business. This included making any travel and hotel arrangements as required.
11. Prepare agenda for weekly meetings with all direct reports to the Director of Business.
12. Oversee the preparation of requisitions for supplies, floral arrangements and departmental repairs as needed. Coordinate purchase and restocking of general office supplies.
13. Will assign and ensure pick up of mail and/or correspondence on a daily basis, including any correspondence between DHQ.
14. Maintain an up-to-date Salvation Army Disposition of Forces and any other resource material for the Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center
15. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all office equipment.
16. Collect statistical information from various RJKCCC programs. Ensure that statistics are inputted into computer database program and reports generated to DHQ on a monthly basis when needed.
17. Prepare and process all reports required for the Annual Divisional review and annual RJKCCC review.
18. Maintain confidential files for all programs, property matters, contracts, social service matters, licenses, etc. This would include but is not limited to: Salvation Army requirements, federal, state, county and city requirements, etc.
19. Assist in the preparation of grant applications, special reports, proposals, etc.:
a. Prepare research materials, as directed including background data, charts and graphs, demographics.
b. Conduct research, as directed, to determine characteristic patterns, background and interest in particular category.
c. Set up office procedure and tickler files, which will ensure that each project is followed to completion.
20. Establish and maintain all computer records as directed by the Director of Business.
21. Carry out decisions and instructions given by the Director of Business in accordance with The Salvation Army policy and procedures.
22. Responsible for facilitating stocking of supplies for copy machines and printers throughout entire facility as well as repair for copy machines.
23. Maintain vehicle, 2 way radio and key assignment logs.
24. Maintain and upkeep records of Lost and Damage reports and Incident reports as well as helping with reporting of incidents and follow-ups.
25. Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for maintaining electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems. Position will also assist the Facility Manager in coordinating work efforts and in training of the maintenance and custodial staff.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

3. Familiarity with energy maintenance systems, preventive maintenance and work order programs, and life safety systems.
4. Two years of experience in leading work groups and training others.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Perform basic routine and emergency repairs to designated facility plumbing, electrical, structural, and mechanical systems as required.
2. Monitor all interior areas of the buildings facility, external facilities, parking lots and landscaped areas; including all electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems in and around the Center.
3. Identify and perform basic routine and emergency repairs to designated facility plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems as required.
4. Complete all work orders and PM’s as assigned.
5. Coordinate the priority maintenance repairs in accordance with the urgency associated with each repair.
6. Determines material, equipment, and supplies to be used. Transfers equipment and personnel from one project to another as necessary. Inspects work for completeness.
7. Contact vendors and/or agencies as needed to ensure the proper operation of equipment, facilities and systems.
8. Maintain landscaping, parking lots, sidewalks, mowing grass, and other exterior maintenance and property upkeep needs as required. Assist in periodic custodial duties as needed.
9. Maintain aquatic and recreational equipment as required.
10. Spot check routine work and supervise the more complex or unusual projects.
11. Assist in preventative maintenance of the facilities and equipment, including but not limited to: belt inspections and replacements, replace light bulbs, filter replacements, coil cleaning and painting of building and maintain general service ability.
12. Assist in the budget process under the direction of the Facilities Manager.
13. Assist in the setup of equipment for events and activities for the Center.
14. Assist in the periodic maintenance of the Center’s vehicle fleet.
15. Assist in the hiring, training, evaluation and supervision of custodial/maintenance staff.
16. Assist the Facility Manager in providing instruction to all maintenance and custodial staff in the proper use of all equipment and cleaning supplies.
17. Assist the Facility Manager in maintaining a safe working environment for all employees, guests and members of the Center.
