Registration Required
The Community Learning Exchange (CLE) ‘Ohana Series is a series of cultural knowledge workshops that incorporate opportunities to learn from cultural practitioners, do hands-on activities, connect with others in the community, and grow as an ‘ohana.
We are excited to announce our Fall 2017 series, Ea mai ke kai mai, in honor of our CLE art piece from last year. We are riding the wave of Hōkūle’a and our community’s connection to the kai by having sessions focused on the ocean. We will start our journey this year on Saturday, August 19, 8:30 am, at Pōka‘ī. We want to honor the kai and ground us to this place by learning an oli with Kalani Flores, Oli Aloha no Wai’anae. We will also share mo‘olelo of the area and be treated to some afternoon ocean activities.
