“Connect” incorporates key aspects of the National Suicide Prevention Strategy into a comprehensive public health training model which promotes an integrated community response to suicide prevention.
This particular “Connect” session will also provide supplementary information applicable for school/college campuses.
Attendees will learn to “connect” with:
1) the issue of suicide, including risk/protective factors and warning signs;
2) someone who may be having thoughts of suicide; and
3) relevant suicide prevention resources.
