This is to inform you that we are reviewing an Application for a zone change in the East Kapolei area of Ewa. The Applicant, D. R. Horton-Schuler Homes LLC, proposes to rezone approximately 1,289 acres of land in East Kapolei from the AG-1 to the R-3.5, A-2, AMX-2, B-2, BMX-3, IMX-1, and P-2 Districts with various height limits as shown on the Location Map with Proposed Zoning and Height Limits.
The proposed zone change is needed to facilitate the Applicant’s plan to develop a large master planned community consisting of approximately 11,750 single and multi-family residential units, commercial and light industrial space, community facilities, three elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, parks and open space, facilities, and utilities. The remaining 264 acres of land will be retained in the AG-1 Restricted Agricultural District for commercial agriculture, community gardens, open space, and infrastructure.
