Kapolei Lofts has teamed up with Street Grindz to celebrate the New Year and the completion of the first of four blocks with a community block party on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 1 to 6 p.m. Open to the public, the Eat The Street – Kapolei Lofts Block Party is a free event, and will be held on Ku’ou Street between Manawai and Wakea Streets next to Kapolei Lofts.
The Eat the Street – Kapolei Lofts Block Party will include keiki activities such as face painting, tattoos, balloon twisters and photo booths. Some of West Oahu’s top performing artists will be on hand to entertain keiki and adults throughout the event.
This FREE and open to the public event put on by Kapolei Lofts, an unparalleled master-planned rental community located in the heart of Kapolei, will celebrate the New Year with an Eat the Street – Kapolei Lofts Block Party on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 1 to 6 p.m.
We’re shutting down an entire street next to Kapolei Lofts and filling it with nearly 40 Eat the Street food trucks from Street Grindz with ono kine grinds! We also will have live music and performances from local artists throughout the day on stage. In addition, Island 98.5 will broadcast live from the event, which will include local vendors, giveaways, a keiki zone with bounce houses, face painting, balloon twisters, and more! This fun festival will be held on Ku’ou Street between Manawai and Wakea Streets. Part of Kapolei Lofts’ Palailai Pedestrian Mall, a planned 60,000-square-foot community park and walking path, also will be open and used as a location for vendors during the event.
Food truck vendors will include All Kine Grindz, Aloha Pops, Beyond Burgers, Big and Beast Sandwich, Bonfire Pizza Co., Crazy Country Corn, Flavors of the World, Flyin Ahi, Fresh Catch, Girls Who Bake, Hawaiian Fresh Farms, Hawaiian Twisted Tater, Hawaiis Fried Musubi, Hula Shrimp, I Love Tacos, Il Gelato, La Roux Lobster Truck, Mega Load Burgers, Nosh, Olays Thai, Pauls Poppers, Pop Pop Donuts, Pt Suisse Crepes, Shaka Shrimp, Smokin Wings and Things, Tacochino, Tea On Fleek, Tin Hut BBQ, Uahi Grill, Uncles Kitchen, Waimanalo Country Farms, Wicked Hi Slush, Wild Candy Bacon, Wow Wow Lemonade, and more.
