Please join us, January 2nd at 6:30pm, behind the Cafe at Kahumana Organic Farm & Cafe, for our monthly Wai’anae Chapter Locavore Potluck & Meeting!
We have an amazing line-up for you this month, so you don’t want to miss this!
What to expect:
– 6:30pm – Welcome & Chapter Announcements & updates from Wai’anae Chapter President, Christian Zuckerman
– 6:45-7:00pm – Blessing of food – Locavore Potluck! (Please bring dish to pass)
– 7:00-7:30pm – Cooking Demo from Adam Gilbert, Executive Chef/Owner of Plantation Tavern in Kapolei.
– 7:30-8:00pm – Presentation from *Dr. Ted Radovich, Associate Extension Specialist – University of Hawai’i at Manoa & Coordinator for the Organic Working Groups of the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources (CTAHR)
– 8:00pm – Closing remarks

*BYOU – Please bring your own forks/spoons/knives/plates & cups if this is avialable to you! It definitely lightens our load, & keeps the amount of waste to a minimum!
*PLEASE – bring a dish to pass if you plan on partaking in any food provided. (portion for 10 or more people)
