Human Resources Generalist – Parents And Children Together (PACT)

Job Description:
Recruitment #1629. FT. The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of HR functions to include employment laws, voluntary benefit and leave administration including family medical leave (FMLA), workers compensation, and temporary disability insurance (TDI), recruitment, equal employment opportunity (EEO), affirmative action, and other policies and procedures established by the agency. The HR Generalist will ensure these laws, regulations, and policies and procedures are administered fairly and act as an employee advocate at all times.
Education / Training Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred PLUS three (3) years relevant Human Resources experience; OR
• High School Diploma or higher PLUS five (5) years relevant Human Resources experience, required.
• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred not required.
• Must possess demonstrated knowledge of current State and Federal laws and regulations, required.
