Leeward Community College’s Waianae Coast Campus to move to larger space

Leeward Community College on Oahu is planning to relocate its Waianae Coast Campus to a vacant building in Maili that’s almost four times the size of its current space near the Waianae Mall in an effort to accommodate growth, according to a draft environmental assessment for the project.

The total cost of the project, including the acquisition of the land, is expected to cost almost $11 million, according to the draft EA published in the most recent edition of the Hawaii Office of Environmental Quality Control’s Environmental Notice.
