OAHU LANE CLOSURES FOR THE WEEK OF APRIL 19 – APRIL 25

PLEASE NOTE: Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.
All projects are weather permitting.

— H-1 FREEWAY —

HONOLULU TO KALIHI (NIGHT WORK)

Multiple lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Waialae Avenue Off-Ramp (Exit 26) and the University Avenue Off-Ramp (Exit 24B) on Monday night, April 21, through Friday morning, April 25, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for overhead sign maintenance.

During these hours, the Pali Highway Off-Ramp (Exit 21B), the westbound H-1 entrance from Punchbowl Street and the Palama Street Off-Ramp (Exit 20C) may be closed for short durations as necessary.

HONOLULU (NIGHT/WEEKEND WORK)

Full closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between Ward Avenue Overpass and Middle Street on Sunday night April 20, through Thursday morning, April 24, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for the H-1 Rehabilitation Project.

The H-1 Rehabilitation project will upgrade the freeway sub-surface and asphalt to provide a longer-lasting, smooth riding surface, provide an additional lane in each direction, install upgraded lighting, improve drainage, and install glare screens along the median.

AIRPORT (NIGHT/WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Keehi Interchange and the Airport Off-Ramp (Exit 16) from 5:30 a.m., Saturday morning, April 19, through 5:30 a.m., Sunday morning, April 20, for viaduct deck repairs.

PEARL CITY TO WAIKELE

Left lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) and the Waikele/Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 7) on Monday, April 21, through Friday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., daily, for shoulder work.

SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (NIGHT WORK)

Two lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Radford Drive Overpass and the Airport Off-Ramp (Exit 16) on Monday, April 21, through Friday morning, April 25, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for overhead sign work.

PEARL CITY (NIGHT WORK)

Left lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the H-1/H-2 Merge and the Waiawa Road Overpass on Monday, April 21 to Friday, April 25, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the Rail Project.

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

MAKAHA

Lane closures on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between Jade Street and Makaha Valley Road on Monday, April 21, through Friday, April 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for drainage maintenance. Traffic will be contraflowed using the remaining open lane.

During these hours, the east entrance to Lahilahi Street may also be closed as needed. Access will still be available at the west entrance to Lahilahi Street.

WAIPAHU

Lane closures on Farrington Highway in the westbound direction between Leoku Street and Old Fort Weaver Road on Monday, April 21, through Friday, April 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for the Rail Project.

— FORT BARRETTE ROAD —

KAPOLEI

Lane closures on Fort Barrette Road in both directions between Farrington Highway and Saratoga Avenue on Monday, April 21, through Friday, April 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for detector installations.

— KUNIA ROAD —

WAIPAHU

Right lane closure on Kunia Road in the southbound direction between Kupuna Loop and Farrington Highway on Wednesday, March 19, through Friday, March 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for road maintenance.

KUNIA CAMP

Lane closure on Kunia Road in the southbound direction between Hauula Street and Plantation Road on Monday, April 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for utility replacements.
