OAHU LANE CLOSURES FOR THE WEEK OF JULY 12 – JULY 18

PLEASE NOTE: Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.
All projects are weather permitting.

— H-1 FREEWAY —

HONOLULU (NIGHT/WEEKEND WORK)

Full closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between Ward Avenue Overpass and Middle Street on Sunday night July 13, through Friday morning, July 18, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for the H-1 Rehabilitation Project.

The H-1 Rehabilitation project will upgrade the freeway sub-surface and asphalt to provide a longer-lasting, smooth riding surface, provide an additional lane in each direction, install upgraded lighting, improve drainage, and install glare screens along the median.

Partial closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between Middle Street and the Ward Avenue Overpass on Sunday night, July 13, through Friday morning, July 18, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for the H-1 Rehabilitation project.

Full closures of the Liliha On-Ramp and the Pali Highway Off-Ramp on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction from Friday night, July 11 at midnight, through Saturday morning, July 12 at 8 a.m.

Full closures of the Punchbowl Off-Ramp and Pali Highway On-Ramp on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction from Saturday night, July 12 at midnight, through Sunday morning, July 13 at 8 a.m.

HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

24-hour right lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Likelike Highway Off-Ramp (Exit 20A) and the Gulick Avenue Overpass on Saturday morning, July 12, at 7 a.m. through Monday morning, July 14, at 5 a.m., continuously, for demolition and construction of the right side concrete wall.

HONOLULU

Full closure of the Likelike Highway/Kalihi Street On-Ramp to the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction from 9 a.m. on Monday, July 14 through 5 a.m. on Friday, July 18, continuously, for demolition and construction of the ride side concrete wall. The ramp will open every morning from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. to accommodate morning rush hour.

WAIMALU TO WAIPAHU (NIGHT WORK)

Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) on Monday, July 14, through Friday morning, July 18, from 7:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for road widening and utility installations.

WAIMALU TO WAIPAHU

Alternating lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Street Overpass on Monday, July 14, through Friday, July 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., daily, for road repairs and utility installations.

MAKAKILO

Full ramp closure of the Makakilo On-Ramp to the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction on Monday, July 14, through Friday, July 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for paving.

HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the Pali Highway and the McCully Street Overpass on Sunday, July 13, through Friday, July 18, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for pavement marking installations.

MANOA

Left lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the southbound direction between Dole Street and the H-1 Freeway Overpass on Thursday, July 17, through Friday, July 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for sewer maintenance.

SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Radford Drive Overpass and the Airport Off-Ramp (Exit 16) from 9 p.m., Friday, July 11, through 4 a.m., Monday, July 14, for deck repairs.

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

MAKAHA

Lane closures on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between Jade Street and Makaha Valley Road on Monday, July 14, through Friday, July 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for paving and drain line work. Traffic will be contraflowed using the remaining open lane.

During these hours, the east entrance to Lahilahi Street may also be closed as needed. Access will still be available at the west entrance to Lahilahi Street.

EWA BEACH (NIGHT WORK)

Farrington Highway will be closed between Kualakai Parkway and Old Fort Weaver Road from 7 p.m. Monday evening, July 14, through 5 a.m. Friday morning, July 18, nightly, for utility relocation.

MAILI

Single lane closure in the eastbound direction at the intersection of Farrington Highway and St. Johns Road between Liopolo Street and Manununu Street, on Monday, July 14 through Friday, July 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for construction at Maili Beach Park.

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

PEARL CITY

One right lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the eastbound direction between Puu Momi Street and Kaahumanu Street on Tuesday, June 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for guardrail repair.

— FORT BARRETTE ROAD —

KALAELOA

Lane closures on Fort Barrett Road in both directions between Farrington Highway and Roosevelt Avenue on Monday, July 14, through Friday, July 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, for utility maintenance.
