OAHU LANE CLOSURES FOR THE WEEK OF JULY 26 – AUGUST 1

PLEASE NOTE: Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.
All projects are weather permitting.

— H-1 FREEWAY —

HONOLULU (NIGHT/WEEKEND WORK)

Full closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between Ward Avenue Overpass and Middle Street on Sunday night July 27, through Friday morning, August 1, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for the H-1 Rehabilitation Project.

The H-1 Rehabilitation project will upgrade the freeway sub-surface and asphalt to provide a longer-lasting, smooth riding surface, provide an additional lane in each direction, install upgraded lighting, improve drainage, and install glare screens along the median.

HONOLULU (NIGHT/WEEKEND WORK)

Partial closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between Middle Street and the Ward Avenue Overpass on Sunday, July 27, through Friday morning, August 1, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for the H-1 Rehabilitation project.

PEARL HARBOR (NIGHT WORK)

Two right lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between Radford Drive Overpass and the Airport Off-Ramp (Exit 16) on Monday, July 28, to Friday morning, August 1, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for overhead sign work.

WAIMALU TO WAIPAHU (NIGHT WORK)

Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) on Tuesday, July 29, through Friday morning, August 1, from 7:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for road widening and utility installations.

WAIMALU TO WAIPAHU

One right lane closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) on Thursday, July 31, through Friday, August 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for road widening and utility installations.

PEARL CITY TO WAIPAHU

One right lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the H-1/H-2 Split and the Waipahu Street Overpass on Monday, July 28, through Wednesday, July 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., daily, for road repairs and utility installations.

HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between Koko Head Avenue Off-Ramp (Exit 26A) and LikelikeHighway Off-Ramp (Exit 20A) on Sunday, July 27, through Friday, August 1, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.for overhead sign work. Closure may also include the Pali Highway Off-Ramp (Exit 21B), the Punchbowl to H-1 westbound On-Ramp (Exit 21B) and the Palama Street Off-Ramp (Exit 20C).

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

MAKAHA

Lane closures on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between Jade Street and Makaha Valley Road on Monday, July 28, through Friday, August 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for paving and drain line work. Traffic will be contraflowed using the remaining open lane.

During these hours, the east entrance to Lahilahi Street may also be closed as needed. Access will still be available at the west entrance to Lahilahi Street.

WAIANAE

Lane closures on Farrington Highway in the northbound direction between Kaukama Road and Maliona Street on Monday, July 28, through Friday, August 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., nightly, for pavement marking installations.

NANAKULI

Lane closures on Farrington Highway in both directions between Lualei Place and Kahau Street, on Wednesday, July 30 through Thursday, July 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for asphalt pavement repair.

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

PEARL CITY

One right lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the eastbound direction between Puu Momi Street and Kaahumanu Street on Monday, July 28, through Friday, August 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for guardrail repair.
