OAHU LANE CLOSURES FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 15 – 21

PLEASE NOTE: Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.
All projects are weather permitting.

— H-1 FREEWAY —

PEARL CITY (NIGHT WORK)

Three right lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the H-1/H-2 Merge and the Pearl Ridge/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) on Monday, March 17, through Friday morning, March 21, from 6 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for viaduct deck repairs.

WAIMALU TO PEARL CITY (NIGHT WORK)

Two right lanes will be closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the H-1/H-2 Split and the Waikele/Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 7) on Monday night, March 17, through Friday morning, March 21, from 7:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for deck repairs.

HONOLULU (NIGHT/WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between Likelike Highway and Ward Avenue on Sunday, March 16, through Friday, March 21, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., for the H-1 Rehabilitation Project.

The H-1 Rehabilitation project will upgrade the freeway sub-surface and asphalt to provide a longer-lasting, smooth riding surface, provide an additional lane in each direction, install upgraded lighting, improve drainage, and install glare screens along the median.

PEARL CITY TO WAIKELE

Single right lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waikele/Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 7) on Friday, March 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., daily, for deck widening work and street lighting installations.

SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (NIGHT WORK)

Two right lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Radford Drive Overpass and the Airport Off-Ramp (Exit 16) on Monday, March 17, through Friday, March 21, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for overhead sign work.

EWA (NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between Kualakai Parkway and Fort Weaver Road on Monday, March 17, through Friday, March 21, from 8 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., for sign work.

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

MAKAHA

Single lane closure on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between Jade Street and Makaha Valley Road on Monday, March 17, through Friday, March 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for drainage maintenance. Traffic will be contraflowed using the remaining open lane.

During these hours, the east entrance to Lahilahi Street may also be closed as needed. Access will still be available at the west entrance to Lahilahi Street.

— FORT BARRETTE ROAD —

KAPOLEI

Lane closures on Fort Barrett Road in both directions between Farrington Highway and Saratoga Avenue on Wednesday, March 19, through Friday, March 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for pavement repairs.

— KUNIA ROAD —

WAIPAHU

Right lane closure on Kunia Road in the southbound direction between Kupuna Loop and Farrington Highway on Wednesday, March 19, through Friday, March 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for road maintenance.
