OAHU LANE CLOSURES FOR THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 6 – SEPTEMBER 12

PLEASE NOTE: Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.
All projects are weather permitting.

— H-1 FREEWAY —

HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)

Right lane closure H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Metcalf Street Overpass and the Keeaumoku Street Overpass from Wednesday night, September 10, through Friday morning, September 12, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for drain cleaning. The westbound Alexander Street On-Ramp will also be closed.

WAIMALU TO WAIPAHU (NIGHT WORK)

Two to three right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) on Monday night, September 8, through Friday morning, September 12, from 7:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for road widening and utility installations.

WAIMALU TO WAIPAHU

One right lane closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the H-1/H-2 Split on Monday, September 8, through Friday, September 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for road widening and utility installations.

WAIMALU TO WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Left lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Keeaumoku Street Overpass and the Ward Avenue Overpass from 9 p.m. Sunday night, September 7, through 4 a.m., Monday morning, September 8. Left lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the Keeaumoku Street Overpass and the Ward Avenue Overpass from Monday night, September 8, through Friday morning, September 12, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for overhead sign demolition and installation.

— H-2 FREEWAY —

WAIPIO (NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on the H-2 Freeway in the Honolulu-bound direction between the Ka Uka Boulevard Off-Ramp (Exit 2) and the Waiawa Road Overpass on Monday, September 8 through Thursday, September 11, from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. for the rail project.

— H-201 MOANALUA FREEWAY —

Left lane closure on H-201 Moanalua Freeway in the westbound direction, between the H-201 Moanalua Freeway and Kamehameha Highway merge and Kaonohi Street on Monday, September 8 through Friday, September 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the rail project.

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

NANAKULI

Right lane closure on Farrington Highway in the westbound direction between Lualei Place and Akowai Road on Monday, September 8, through Wednesday, September 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for water main replacement.

WAIANAE

Lane closures on Farrington Highway in the westbound direction between Waianae Valley Road and Bayview Street on Monday, September 8, through Friday, September 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility maintenance.

WAIANAE

Alternating lane closures on Farrington Highway in both directions between Helelua Street and Makaha Valley Road on Monday, September 8, through Friday, September 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility maintenance.

MAKAHA

Right lane closure in the southbound direction on Farrington Highway between Makau Street and Water Street, on Monday, September 8, through Friday, September 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility repairs.

MAKAHA

Right lane closure in the westbound direction on Farrington Highway between Ala Hema Street and Ala Akau Street on Monday, September 8, through Friday, September 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility repairs.

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

HAWAII KAI

Lane closures on Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction between East Halemaumau Street and Hawaii Kai Drive on Monday, September 8, through Friday, September 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for cold planning and resurfacing as part of the Kalanianaole Highway Resurfacing project.

On Monday, September 8, left turns are permitted up to West Halemaumau Street, and U-Turns are permitted at Kawaihae Street. From Tuesday, September 9 through Friday, September 12, left turns are permitted up to East Halemaumau Street, and U-turns are permitted up to Kawaihae Street. Motorists are advised to use Keahole Street to access Hawaii Kai Drive and to return westbound.

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

PEARL CITY

Left lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Puu Momi Street and Kuleana Road on Monday, September 8, through Friday, September 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for deck widening.

— KUNIA ROAD —

VILLAGE PARK

Single lane closure on Kunia Road in both directions between Plantation Road and Kupuna Loop on Monday, September 8, through Friday, September 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, for asphalt paving.
