OAHU LANE CLOSURES FOR THE WEEKEND OF JUNE 6 – JUNE 8

PLEASE NOTE: Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.
All projects are weather permitting.

— H-1 FREEWAY —

AIRPORT (NIGHT/WEEKEND WORK)

Left lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Hickam AFB/Naval Base Off-Ramp (Exit 15) and Airport Off-Ramp (Exit 16) from 9 p.m., Friday night, June 6, through 9 p.m., Sunday night, June 9, for viaduct deck repairs.

Airport Viaduct improvements include concrete deck replacements, expansion joint repairs, and pavement restriping. Work is located between the Pearl Harbor Interchange and the Keehi Interchange.

WAIMALU TO WAIPAHU (NIGHT/WEEKEND WORK)

Two left lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) from 11 p.m., Saturday night June 7, through 12 noon, Sunday, June 8, for road resurfacing.

Improvements for the PM Contraflow include highway deck repairs and road widening from Waimalu to Waikele. An extra lane will be added from the Waimalu On-Ramp to the Waipahu Off-Ramp and from the H-1/H-2 Split to the Waikele Off-Ramp.

PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Left lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and the Waiawa Road Overpass at the H-1/H-2 Merge on Sunday, June 8, through Friday, June 13, from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for the rail project.

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

PEARL HARBOR (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Makalapa Road/Radford Drive and the H-1 Freeway on Sunday, June 8, through Thursday, June 12, from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m., for soil testing.

— NIMITZ HIGHWAY —

HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Multiple lane closures on Nimitz Highway in both directions between Pacific Street and Punchbowl Street on Sunday night, June 8, through Friday morning, June 12, from 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m., for soil testing.

HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Nimitz Highway in both directions between Alakawa Street and Smith Street on Sunday, June 8, from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m., for soil testing.

— ALA MOANA BOULEVARD —

KAKAAKO (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

NIGHT WORK:

• Lane closure on Ala Moana Boulevard in the westbound direction between Kamakee Street and Queen Street, on Sunday, June 8, through Friday morning, June 13, from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for utility installations.

— VALKENBURGH STREET —

Lane closures on Valkenburgh Street in both directions between Bougainville Drive and Paine Circle on Sunday, June 8, through Thursday, June 12, from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. nightly, for soil testing.
