The April 5, 2017 Star Advertiser front page features the amazing efforts of Mikiala Lidstone and Ulu A’e Learning Center. Thanks to their hard work, in February 2017, two new cultural markers were installed at Puuokapolei– to signify the historical significance of the area as well as to deter vandalism from taking place in the area.
