Assist members and providers in a timely and accurate manner in phone, email, face-to-face, and other interactions. Support applications that promote member and provider education, services, and self-servicing tools. Duties and Responsibilities:
Support system and web applications that promote member and provider education, services, and self-servicing tools by participating in test, maintenance, documentation, and other activities.
Assist members and providers in email, face-to-face, and other interactions.
Assist members and providers in a timely and accurate manner in phone interactions.
Complete assignments related to project work as directed by management.
Identify, research, implement process improvement ideas that reduces overhead, inquiry volume, costs, or increases efficiency.
Participate in community outreach events that promote HMSA in our member and provider community.
Cooperate with superiors and peers in activities that support/accomplish HMSA’s Core Values.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or equivalent amount of related work experience.
Two years customer service experience.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft PC applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Occasional overtime during busy periods, special projects, and training and occasional after-hours or weekend hours opportunities.

COMPREHENSIVE COUNSELING SUPPORT SERVICES – FULL-TIME

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Concentrates on reducing the wait list for services at CCSS Oahu. Complete intake and assessment. Develops and implements service plans with based on clinical assessments. Provides individual, conjoint, family and group therapy according to treatment needs, and outreach with home visits as the standard means of service delivery. Provides case management and service coordination in conjunction with referring worker. Provides family life education and advocacy as needed. Appropriately and selectively utilizes a broad variety of diagnostic and treatment skills and techniques. May provide transportation for families on occasion. Performs required administrative tasks related to caseload, such as correspondence, reports, and maintaining of case records. Allocates a minimum of 60% of available time to direct services. Uses regular supervision to improve performance and assure excellence in service delivery. Coordinates and collaborates with public and private agencies to ensure non-duplication of services. Facilitates and records interdisciplinary team meetings. Performs administrative tasks related to agency-wide data, including required activity reports, in a timely fashion. Maintains client confidentiality at all times. Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: Master’s degree in Social Work or related Human Service field from an accredited school. Experience in working with children and or families or related experience. Experience completing therapeutic assessment and service/treatment planning. Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Valid driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract, current no-fault insurance coverage and access to an insured vehicle.

EXPERIENCE: One year plus. Good interpersonal skills. Good written and verbal skills. Computer literate. Experience in working with families to prevent child abuse and neglect.

This job requires a valid Hawaii driver’s license, a clear driver’s abstract, and willingness to travel in personal vehicle on an as-needed basis throughout the island.  Masters’ Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency. Requires knowledge of an advanced type. One year of administrative or supervisory experience. Knowledge of area of program concentration with children.
  • Administrative Assistant – As directed by the Executive Assistant II, is responsible for providing administrative assistance to support goals of, and services provided by, Child and Family Service administration. Performs secretarial duties, recordkeeping, and administrative detail and follow-up functions. Involves a high degree of confidential information. High school plus additional training equal to 2 years of college, which requires knowledge of a specialized field or may lead to licensing (data processing, accounting, human services), or formalized apprenticeship
    program. One-year office management/administration experience preferred. Typing at 65 wpm net with accuracy in spelling and grammar. Able to take dictation, produce minutes; shorthand preferred. Must possess significant organizational skills to perform assignments.
