Saturdays, October 7 – 28 from 8:00 a.m. – 12 noon at Waianae Mall (86-120 Farrington Highway in Waianae). Support local farmers and take the challenge to eat more healthy Hawaii-grown foods. Stop by the Mākeke Wai`anae information booth to pick up your free gift bag (while supplies last) and Challenge Stamp Card to complete to win prizes. The featured Hawaii-grown food this year is the delicious and nutritious beet!
The Challenge Finale on October 28 will offer cooking demos by the talented students from the Wai`anae High School Culinary Program (using beets as one of the ingredients), special activities and the drawing for prizes including a $250 Visa gift card and a ku’i board and stone! Drawing begins at 11 a.m. and you must be present to win a prize!!
