Who would’ve known that back in 1993, Searider Productions at Waianae High School would be as popular and as award-winning as it is today? Searider Productions started off with just 85 students part of Waianae High School’s CTE Department, fast forward 24 years the program as grown to well over 300 students!
But the progress doesn’t stop there. Just this past State legislative session, Searider Productions has been given $10.7 Million for improvements for their facilities. Two of their buildings will be remodeled and joined by a courtyard. The expansion hopes to bring in more students into the program as well as open more opportunities for them as well. The project planned to start in 2018.
