I would like extend a warm mahalo to residents that recently came out to attend Pili O Waianae Po’e— A Waianae Community Connections Meeting on March 30, 2016 at the Kamehameha Schools Community Learning Center at Mā‘ili.
With nearly 70 attendees representing local businesses, civic groups, and community organizations throughout our Waianae neighborhoods, the event was a success. Following a beautiful pule and introduction from former City Council Chair John DeSoto, residents got the chance to receive an update on City and State projects, transportation, parks, affordable housing, and cultural sustainability for the Waianae Coast. Residents also got the chance to network and meet other residents in the Waianae area!
Presentations:
Legislative Update – Senator Maile Shimabukuro
