WATER CONSERVATION REQUEST FOR OAHU IS ENDED – The Board of Water Supply (BWS) has ended its request for all Oahu residents to conserve water due to yesterday’s anticipated arrival of Tropical Storm Flossie. The BWS needed residents to keep water use to an absolute minimum as it filled up its water storage supplies.

The BWS thanks residents for their help and cooperation, which allowed the Department to fill its reservoirs to capacity and, if an electrical outage occurred, would have kept water flowing to BWS customers until electrical power could be restored.
